Australian Feather, or Feathery marestail Myrio. sp, is an aquatic pond plant with an upright habitat and resembles parrots feather. This delightful pond plant has emerald-green, feathery foliage and grows to 6 inches tall in columns at the surface of the water, when planted in small pots! Australian Feathers have green, feathery stems that grow upright at the edge of your pond to help soften the rockery, or, plant Australian Feathers at the base of taller plants to conceal the container! Australian Feathers is now sold as bunched cuttings and simply needs to be planted in a small pot of heavy loam soil and placed with up to 4 inches of water over the top of the pot.
