Betty Lou Waterlily is a very large, annual waterlily with intense, bright-blue blooms!
The petals are arranged beautifully around the red stamen and the flowers stand high above the surface of the water--the large pads on the Betty Lou Waterlily are solid green.
This waterlily is an unusual and awesome specimen from hybridizer, Rich Sacher. Betty Lou Waterlily is a cross between a tropical waterlily (N. Colorata) and an Australian Waterlily (N. Immutabulis).
Betty Lou Waterlily needs plenty of room to grow and bloom!
Plant your Betty Lou Waterlily in a very large container using heavy loam soil.
Fertilize every three weeks to keep it blooming and place in full sun (at least 5+ hours of sun per day!)
We recommend and sell Landon Granular Fertilizer or Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs.
