White Butterfly Snowflakes (Nymphoides)
Butterfy Snowflakes have heavenly, little, white blooms that seem to 'float' on the surface of the water. The foliage on the Montana Snowflake is greenish-purple. This delightful plant looks so pretty and will grace the surface of your water garden feature. Montana Snowflakes are not winter hardy and are considered an annual in northern climates. Hardy in zones 9 - 12
Plant this lovely specimen in heavy loam soil, in containers, and place them 12 - 20 inches beneath the surface of the water. These delightful flowers bloom spring until fall, in full sun to part shade.
LA & NC both have restricted this plant as an invasive species. These cannot be sent into those states.
