Excellent when planted in compost rich, loam soil in your terrestrial garden, in full sun to part shade with an inch of soil over the rhizomes. Keep soil moist throughout dry conditions. Also great when planted in one gallon containers, or larger, using loam soil and placed in the pond with a couple of inches of water above the container, in full sun to part shade. Fertilize once a month, June through August, with Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs + Humates. Deep Rose Versicolor Iris does an excellent job of filtering the water in bog filters! Deep Rose Iris Versicolor is great for the edges of the pond or bog areas as well.
