Anacharis Najas is a green, stemmed oxygenator with tiny green leaves. Anacharis Najas has slightly more skinny and thinly spaced whorls than it's more common cousin, 'Egeria Densa' which is becoming illegal in many states across the US. Anacharis Najas helps to add oxygen to the water as well as aiding in algae elimination by quickly up-taking excess nutrients, as they both compete for the same nutrition. It is great for spawning and excellent cover for small fish.
Minimum 5 bunches
Anacharis Najas can be anchored with small weights or planted in the substrate. It will do well simply floating as it takes in nutrition from the hair-like leaves. It is a great plant for spawning and as cover for smaller fish. It reproduces by stem cutting and is sold as a bunched plant. A great addition for your pond or water feature.
Legal in all states except CAAnacharis Najas is an illegal invasive species in California and will not be shipped there under any circumstances. Please consider other submerged oxygenators like Hornwort or Vallisneria.
