Plant Anchors/Plant Weights help to keep your oxygenators and submerged plants in place! Submerged, oxygenating plants are important to the overall health of your pond. Submerged, Oxygenating plants add oxygen to the pond in the daylight hours as well as helping to take up additional nutrients from the pond water which helps to reduce algae, keeping your water clear. Submerged or Oxygenating plants may be planted in small containers filled with sand or gravel, tucked into the substrate at the bottom of the pond or anchored with Plant Anchors /Plant Weights. Simply bunch the stems together with a small rubberband (many oxygenators will arrive this way) and add the plant anchor to the base of the stem cuttings. Plant Anchors/Plant weights will hold your oxygenating plants in place at the bottom of the pond.
