Pamela is an excellent sky blue medium to large Water Lily. This easy-to-grow pond plant has beautiful green lily pads and sweet-scented sky-blue flowers.
The spread of pads extends four to six feeds depending on the fertilizer given during the growing season.
We recommend planting lilies 6 to 16 inches from the surface in 2-5 gallons of heavy loam soil to make them more shallow for better blooming.
Loam is what you would commonly find below turf in your yard or landscape in much of the US and does not have organic material added to it, as organic compost will rot in water. Do not buy cooked aquatic potting clays, as they have no nutritional value and cannot pull nutrients out of those products.
We recommend Water Lily World Fertilizer Tablets and three tablets with this lily on the first and fifteenth of each.
