2021 Colorful Clouds Lotus has row upon row and layer upon layer of dreamy, pink petals on the multi-petaled flowers. Colorful Clouds Lotus grows 2 - 4 feet tall and is considered a medium sized lotus. Wide outer petals frame this flower nicely. The heavenly pink color is more saturated on the outer edges of the petals. The handsome green foliage makes a nice backdrop for the stunning blooms on this exquisite lotus specimen!
Plant your lotus in a wide container using loam soil and add 2 - 4 inches of water above the soil. Place in a sunny location where your lotus will receive 8 - 10 hours of sunlight daily. Do not fertilize until you have aerial leaves growing out of the container.
How And When To Fertilize Your Lotus
Once your lotus has aerial leaves, you may fertilize your lotus. For the first fertilizer application use 1/2 dose of the recommended dosage of fertilizer. Fertilize every three weeks thereafter with the recommended dose of fertilizer throughout the growing/blooming season. Your last fertilizer application should be in early September. This will allow your lotus to go into dormancy naturally.
We recommend Waterlily World Fertilizer Tabs for optimum growth and best bloom!
