K and H Perfect Climate Deluxe Pond De-icers may be used as a submersible de-icer or as a floating de-icer! Simply unscrew the float ring and remove it to us as a submersible de-icer. To use as a floating de-icer, just leave the float ring attached. All of the heating elements are enclosed so your pond liner is safe from damage due to burns.
