Avalanche Waterlily is a large, annual waterlily with a frosty breath of light, lavender-blue over the petals. The spectacular pads on the Avalanche Waterlily are green with maroon mottling. Avalanche Tropical Waterlily is a stunning addition to any water garden feature. The heavenly flowers with a slight blush of lavender blue over the petals along with the exquisitely mottled pads make this tropical waterlily the centerpiece of your water garden feature! Avalanche Waterlily has a 6-8 foot spread.
Plant your Avalanche Waterlily in a large container (2 - 7 gallons or larger), using heavy loam soil. Place this dazzling plant 1 - 2 feet beneath the surface of the water, in full sun. Fertilize throughout the growing/blooming season for best bloom and optimum growth!
Waterlilies are heavy feeders, we recommend and sell Waterlily World Pond Tabs or Landon's Granular Fertilizer, for blooms all summer until frost!
An easy way to remember when to fertilize your waterlilies is to feed them on the 1st of each month during the growing and blooming season, June through September.
