Canna Australia is an AWESOME specimen with brilliant, red flowers on exotic black-green foliage. These are shipped as plants, not rootstock, all spring and summer. Plant Canna Australia in the back of the flower garden or as a focal point, as it grows 4 - 5 feet tall. Make sure it has some protection from the wind as well. Canna Australia blooms mid-summer until frost and attracts hummingbirds. In northern climates, lift bulbs after first frost and overwinter indoors in a cool, dry place.
