Plant in a wide, 16 inch container using heavy loam soil and place 8 inches to 2 feet beneath the surface of the water, in full sun. Fertilize your Colorado Waterlily during the growing/blooming season for optimum growth and best bloom with slow release aquatic fertilizer.

*Remember, once a container is overgrown with rhizomes it will need divided and placed in new soil and fertilized to continue blooming. A properly planted, happy waterlily will bloom every day from June 1 to October.
