Gypsy Waterlily is a splendid and refreshing shade of red on this outstanding, hardy waterlily.
The blooms are 4 - 6 across and stand high above the solid green lily pads. The outer petals of this waterlily flower are a little lighter, almost white, on this delightful hybrid and give it a 'frosted' appearance! Gypsy Hardy Waterlily does not 'burn' in the south like many of the other reds do. Gypsy Hardy Waterlily looks great in small to medium sized ponds and blooms beautifully throughout the season!
Place this robust grower 1 foot beneath the surface of the water, in a wide, shallow container using loam soil, and place in full sun. Fertilize throughout the summer months with Landon Granular Fertilizer or Waterlily World Pond Tabs for best bloom and optimum growth.
PONDMEGASTORE TIP Remember to place your waterlilies beneath the freeze line in the winter and bring them closer to the surface of the water in the summer!
