Jumping Violets have tiny, light-lavender and white blooms on airy, round, green foliage. Jumping Violets grow 1- 4" tall and can form a dense mat or ground cover. Grows beautifully as a ground cover in the moist areas of a bog and are great for naturalizing in wetlands and marshes. This lovely pond plant is pretty when planted at the base of taller specimens and so lovely when the jumping violets cascade down the side of a container. Pretty in pots in your pond with only the bottom of the planter in the water. Lovely around the rocks of you pond to help soften the rockery! Adds a dash of color as well!

Planting Instructions

Plant this lovely little pond plant, Jumping Violets, in moist soil, in full sun to full shade. Use small containers (4" or larger) or plant directly in the moist soil in the bog area of your pond.  Grows beautifully from spring until fall and looks great as a ground cover or around the base of taller plants. Not particular about soil and easily adapts to most soil types. When planting in full sun, make sure you keep the soil moist

(Not winter hardy and grown as an annual in the north)
