Melody Ensata Iris is a beautiful iris in delicate shades of rose-lavender that fade to silver-white at the tips of the broad, ruffled petals. Signals on the Melody Ensata Iris are yellow-gold. Foliage is green and plant grows 2 - 3 feet tall in composted, moist, acidic soil. When growing Melody Ensata Iris in ponds or in stream beds, keep the crown above the water. Melody Ensata Iris grows well in full sun to part shade. Blooms in early to late spring, depending on zone.
