Newton Waterlily is a wonderful, hardy waterlily with beautifully formed flowers in a delicious shade of red. Newton Waterlily is over 100 years old and was named for Sir Isaac Newton.
The petals are long and flowers on this lovely, stellate specimen are lush and full and large, often 5 - 6 inches across.The green pads complement this free blooming waterlily nicely. Newton Waterlily blooms all summer long until frost!
Plant in a large (2 - 7 gallon) container or larger using heavy loam soil and place 1 - 2 feet beneath the surface of the water (deeper depths are for established specimens), in full sun. Fertilize throughout the growing/blooming season.
