Rosie Reds are actually Rosy-Red Minnows and are a great addition to any water garden or pond. They generally swim in schools adding movement and color to the water garden setting. Rosie Reds are usually used as feeder fish. Rosie Reds eat an assortment of foods from algae, plankton and small insects in the wild to aquarium flakes, bloodworms or fish pellets. Rosie Reds should be fed twice a day and may be placed in a pond or aquarium. Rosie Reds may be added to tanks with White Cloud Minnows, Hill Stream Loaches, DoJo Loaches and Red Shiners. They should not be kept with goldfish.
