Snow Angel River Lilly or Kaffir Lily, also known as river lily, is a exquisite addition to your pond. White flowers bloom above the attractive, semi-evergreen, iris-like foliage in late summer through early fall, this long bloom season lasts from August through October, adding blooms to your waterscape or landscape when other plants are spent. Kaffir lilies grow to 24 inches tall with a one foot spread. They make beautiful borders in terrestrial gardens and lovely focal points in you pond. Native to South Africa, Kaffir lilies are hardy in zones 6 - 9

Planting Instructions
Plant your Kaffir Lilies in moist, loam soil. If planting in containers for use in the pond, use loam soil and place the container with up to three inches of water above the soil. (NEVER use stones for planting and do not add stones to the top of the container.) Please see our recipe for loam soil on our home page. Kaffir Lilies should be planted in full sun to part shade. When planting in your terrestrial garden, plant your Kaffir Lilies in moist, loam soil and keep the soil evenly moist. Always water your Kaffir Lilies during a dry spell.
