Steven Strawn Hardy Waterlily has brilliant-red, cup shaped blooms along with green pads which are flecked. This is an attractive waterlily and the flowers have a hint of orange in the red petals. A great choice for medium to large ponds.
Plant this lovely specimen in heavy loam soil in a large (2 - 7 gallon) container, add fertilizer while planting and place 1 - 2 feet beneath the surface of the water in full sun (5+ hours of sunlight per day).
Waterlilies are very heavy feeders!
We recommend and sell Landon Granular Fertilizer or Pond Tabs + Humates for optimum growth and best bloom!
