Sunrise Hardy Waterlily is a magnificent, BIG, BRIGHT AND BEAUTIFUL waterlily. The long, narrow petals on the large blooms are like rays of sunlight. The flowers are held magnificently, 6 inches above the large, green pads and the surface of the water. This HEAVY BLOOMER blooms all summer long into fall and stays open later in the day than most other waterlilies.. At maturity, Sunrise Hardy Waterlily can have a 6 foot spread or larger. This sunny, bright-yellow waterlily is perfect for medium to large ponds or lakes.
Plant your Sunrise Waterlily in a wide, shallow container using loam soil. Place the non growing end of the waterlily against the side of the container. Cover the roots with soil but keep the crown of the plant exposed to the sunlight. Place the container in shallow water in a sunny area of the pond with the plant completely submerged. Once your waterlily is established, you may move it up to 24 inches beneath the surface of the water.
Never place stones or rocks on top of the soil as this will hinder growth and plant development.
Fertilize your waterlilies every month with pond tabs to keep it healthy and blooming!
