Tropical or Annual Water Lilies

Annual Water Lilies are better bloomers than hardy / perennial lilies in most all instances. They can flower pretty much every day in full sun and when fertilized properly. Most all but the night bloomers are highly fragrant and have many hours of additional open flowers compared to most perennials. They can also grow in most of the USA for all of the summer months though wont overwinter in much of the areas with cold winters the benefits over the perennials make them very much worth adding or including in any water garden except perhaps cooler costal areas or those in shade where blooming is less likely.
