Oxygenating Pond Plants, Hornwort, Vallisneria, and Anacharis, . These plants oxygenate the pond and uptake nutrients which compete with algae and prevent algae when planted as a diverse system of nutrient removers. These also provide hiding and safe cover for fish and young fish fry. Submerged Oxygen pond plants are required for a balanced pond ecosystem and clean healthy water. Submerged plants may ship in winter months as they are not subject to cold but if ordered with additonal plant they must ship together in spring when weather is warmer.
