'Painted Pom Pom' is a new perennial winter hardy waterlily. A multi colored flower and multi colored pad water lily that is hardy in all of the continental USA.
A medium waterlily somewhat smaller than its sister plant Painted Lady also from hybridizer Tony Moore. Plant Painted Pom Pom in 6 to 12 inches of water initally to get established in a 12 to 16 inch wide shallow container with heavy loam soil and four to five aquatic waterlilyworld fertilizer tablets with a minimum of six hours direct sunlight. Once established and well rooted after a number of weeks it can be lowered deeper if you wish up to thirty inches but will still need six or more hours direct sunlight and still will bloom less than in shallow water.
This plant should be divided once a year to keep blooming and should be fertilized on twice a month with three to four waterlily world aquatic fertilizer tablets and will then bloom all summer under these instructions. It is safe for all fish and pond life!

You can plant directly in an Earth bottom pond rather than in pots.
Waterlilies will be eaten by large Koi, Carp, Muskrats, Turtles, Deer, and other animals.
Waterlilies are fine with all Goldfish and frogs!
