Flowering Sally, better known as (Lithrum salicaria), is a perennial wetland herb recognized by its tall, showy spikes of magenta-purple flowers, blooming from July through September. Key Characteristics and Identification:- Flowers: Dense, vertical spikes (up to 20 inches long) of 5–7 petaled purple-magenta flowers with a wrinkled, tissue-paper texture.
- Stem & Leaves: Square, hairy stems grow 2–6 feet tall.
