Pink Pickerel Rush is an attractive plant with lush, green foliage and soft-pink flower spikes that bloom regally above the foliage on this popular aquatic pond plant! Flowers bloom all summer long, attracting butterflies and hummingbirds to your water garden! Pink Pickerel Rush grows 18 - 32 inches tall with an 18-inch spread. It is often considered a mainstay in the water garden, as it adds color and texture as well as vertical interest. Pink Pickerel Rush is not winter hardy north of zone 7. The white and blue pickerel are hardy to zone 5.

Plant Pink Pickerel Rush in loam soil with up to 4 - 10 inches of water above the roots using a large, wide container (a container that is at least 12 inches wide and at least a foot deep). Make sure the container is tall enough so that plants don't blow over in a strong wind! Pink Pickerel Rush is a very easy grower. Full sun to full shade. Keep plant tubers from freezing. Pink Pickerel Rush blooms throughout the summer! Hardy in zones 8 - 11
