The cup shaped flowers are drenched with intense, true red color and look fabulous in the water. (This red hybrid may burn in the deep south, but does extremely well everywhere else!)
Manee Red Hardy Waterlily is Medium to Large in size and looks great in medium and large ponds.

Beginner-approved: With sun, calm water, and monthly tablets, these pond plants reward you with steady blooms.
Q: Are hardy water lilies good pond plants for beginners?
A: Yes. Hardy water lilies thrive in calm water with sun and simple monthly fertilizer. They’re among the easiest flowering pond plants.
Q: How deep do I plant a hardy water lily?
A: Start 6–8 inches of water over the crown, then lower to 12–24 inches as growth picks up. Dwarf types prefer shallower water.
Q: What soil should I use?
A: Use heavy garden loam (not fluffy potting mix). Top with ½ inch sand or pea gravel to keep soil from floating.
Q: How often do hardy water lilies need fertilizer?
A: Monthly during the growing season (typically May–September) using aquatic tablet fertilizer.
