Horsetail Rush Pond Plant

has deep-green, jointed stems that add interest to your water garden setting as well as add a tropical look. Horsetail Rush has slender stalks that resemble bamboo, with a striking, upright habitat.

Horsetail shipping size can vary, as taller plants need to be cut back a few times a season to keep them suitable for shipping. The height when shipping can be 5 to 14 inches. As shown in one of the example photos these horsetail rush are pulled from trays with aquatic net pots, an industry standard for over 35 years. There is no set number of stalks in each pot, the photo of them in the tray in the greenhouse is an accurate representation and there are 38 plants per tray in our greenhouses.

The Horsetail Rush plant grows by runners, so it's best to keep it contained in a pot or container. Horsetail Rush adds beauty and an architectural vibe to your water garden setting. Equisetum Hymale is a perennial herb that reproduces by spores, not seeds. The slender stems on Horsetail Rush do not have leaves or flowers. The tall, slender, rush-like stems look great in highly stylized gardens or at the edge of ponds, adding height and vertical interest. A FAVORITE WITH ARCHITECTS! Horsetail Rush adds character to your water garden setting when planted in pots and planters and placed near your pond or patio!
