Waterlily hybridizer Rich Sacher

Rich Sacher is a wonderful waterlily hybridizer and kind friend from New Orleans, Louisiana. He owns and manages American Aquatic Gardens on Elysian Fields in New Orleans. 

Rich has been a wealth of knowledge to myself and new waterlily hybridizers for many years. One of the kindest people you could meet and also one who is among the most sharing of his experiences with his plants. Rich has long shared his information, in the past starting with Kit Knotts Victoria Adventure and Water Gardeners International and more recently with pretty much anyone who will write and ask him questions over the internet. Recently I have visited Rich and his husband Kevin in New Orleans to discuss and document Richs experiences to more freely share to the rest of the world. Rich was kind enough to let me interview him on camera in late 2018 and that conversation will be uploaded here soon.
