Fabulous color and gorgeous blooms on this beautiful iris specimen. Flower petals are violet-purple and white and grow to 2' tall. A lovely addition to your flower bed or water garden. Attractive, green, sword-like foliage stays nice all summer long. Blooms in late spring or early summer, depending on zone.
Grows well in full sun to part shade in your water garden or in pots in the pond. A nice addition to streambeds as well. Plant in loam soil and place pots in pond with up to 4" of water over the top of the pot. May be planted in streambeds or on banks of natural ponds if soil is kept consistently moist. Dig holes a little larger than the bulbs, 3-4 inches deep. Place the bulbs in the holes and cover with an inch or two of soil. Will tolerate occasional flooding. Blooms in late spring or early summer, depending on zone. Fertilize for more robust plant growth and more blooms!
