Cardinal Flower (Lobelia) is a beautiful plant.  Crimson flowers appear on tall, green, spikes in mid to late summer and into fall. Plants grow 1.5 - 3' tall, with showy red blooms above the attractive, green foliage. The blooms of the Cardinal Flower attract hummingbirds & butterflies. Cardinal Flower plants have a clump-like habitat and are not invasive.  Cardinal Flowers provide a lovely 'pop' of color in mid summer to fall when other flowers are fading!  Cardinal Flowers add texture and vertical interest to your water garden setting.Hardy to zone 4
