Puttakhun is an excellent blooming small to medium hardy waterlily from Thailand. This is an excellent new cultivar that surpasses many older varieties in blooming and is a beautiful small to medium specimen. It is great for small or medium ponds. Plant in full sun 6 to 15 inches from the water's surface in a 9 to 15-inch-wide container.
The spread of green pads extends just 24 to 30 inches across, and the white double-petal flowers are incredible to behold.
Plant in loam topsoil are fertilized with 3-4 fertilizer tablets on the first and 15th of each month during the growing season. Divide in spring or summer as needed annually when the plant has stopped flowering or the rhizome has reached the side of the container.
