Silk Stockings/Purple Arrowhead (Sagittaria a) NEW!

Purple Arrowhead / Silk Stockings is a newer selection of sagittaria growing 8-14 inches tall with purple to purple with green leaves and stems making for a striking and mysterious shelf, plant great for filtering the water, bringing pollinators and sparking discussion on where you found such a beautiful and fascinating plant!  
Arrowheads are dormant in fall and winter, so we can only ship these in Spring and Summer. 

Hardy to zones 5-12

Plant in a 10-inch or wider fabric pot, up to the water's surface, where the soil is always damp, but not more than 1 inch deep for best results. Never top with stones, as this plant needs to breathe. Does best in full sun, 5 hours or more, including midday sun. Fertilize with one or two fertilizer tablets each month during growing season.
