Anacharis is an Oxygenating Pond Plant that grows beneath the surface of the water with narrow green leaves on long green stems. Anacharis is sold in banded bunches.
Anacharis helps in algae elimination by competing for the same nutrients that algae needs to thrive, while adding oxygen to the water. one of our favorite submerged oxygenating pond plants we carry, though availability is often limited.
The stems of this submerged Oxygenating Pond Plant can be planted on the substrate or in small containers using sand or small gravel. These Oxygenating Pond Plants can also be anchored with small weights. Anacharis helps to eliminate algae and adds oxygen to the water. You can also plant cuttings from anacharis to multiply the oxygenating benefits.
This submerged oxygenating pond plant cannot be sent into the following states because they are deemed an illegal invasive species in those states.
