Growers Choice is our current best looking variety of the color you are choosing. Never worry during the spring or summer that you order could be held until a specific plant is shipping size. Growers choice lets us grab a great looking lily and get it to you quickly. You pick the color and we choose the variety in that spectrum. 

Most will be medium and large. It is very uncommon we would ever send a pygmea or very small variety so not a food choice for tiny ponds. 

This will be a winter hardy selection. Plamt properly in loam soil (sifted topsoil, backyard dirt....both are usually great and wont have organic material like mulch mixed in. 

but nothing bagged...ever. bagged dirt is full of orgNic compost that floats and rots. 

(***never use aquatic planting media). 

Plant in a 10 to 16 inch wide pot. The top of the pot will be best 6 to 12 inches below the surface. Let acclimate in a semi shallow area like.this for 3 weeks before considering going deeper.
