Ruellia Brittoniana)
Compact Pink Bells/Wild Petunia, also known as the Wild Petunia, have light, pink flowers on dark bronze-green foliage. Plants grow well in full sun and grow 5 to 10 inches tall. Flower add flower when planted in and around the rockery of your pond or water feature. A north American native, easily reseeds in warmer climates. These do well when planted in containers or when planted directly into the ground. Plants die back in temperatures below 32 degrees. Sold in net pots, during spring planting season most marginals ship around 5 to 10 inches tall.

Plant wild petunia in loamy soil in full sun, easily re-seeds in warmer climates. When placing pinkbells in the pond, use a 10 inch container, or larger using heavy loam soil. (Fabric planters are great for plants in the pond!) Place the container in the water, making sure that pots have no more than an inch or two of water above the top of the pot. Pink Bells/wild petunia bloom best in full sun, but tolerates part shade.
