Chameleon Plant (Houttuynia Cordata Variegata) is a perennial plant with tri-colored foliage. The foliage on the Chameleon Plant is variegated with leaves that are heart shaped. This perennial plant is very showy with very colorful leaves, the small, white blooms are almost insignificant due to the lively foliage! Chameleon Plant grows 6-12" tall in moist soil and full sun to part shade. Great in pots and containers or at the base of taller specimens to hide the container. Chameleon Plant has red, pink, green and cream colors variegated throughout the leaves. Chameleon Plant looks great at the edge of the pond as it softens the rockery!

Plant this lovely, perennial ground cover, Chameleon Plant, in rich, moist, heavy loam soil, in full sun to part shade. Colors are more prominent in full sun. Chameleon Plant can be planted as a ground cover or planted in pots or fabric planters and placed on the shelves of your pond. Do not submerge pots, keep roots in 1/2-1" of water. Great for naturalizing in moist bog areas. Plant has a running spread with rhizomes that spread aggressively underground.
Plant in containers with very small drainage holes to keep plant contained.
