Atropurpurea is difficult to say but it is a beautiful dark red waterlily, very free flowering and easy to grow. One of the deepest red waterlilies in existence and very free flowering when placed in shallow water in full sun and fertilized with out tablets every month. We have seen over 80 flowers in one pot in a single summer!
Plant just 6 to12 inches deep, in a 12 to 16 inch wide fabric waterlily pot and fertilize monthly for up to 80 blooms per summer!
